cheers jase
Will check the bulbs asap and let you know how I go on with it. Hope the box is ok. Im not sure if the lights have ever worked while I have owned it. use it as a knock about around the yard at 1st so never really took any notice.
Anyway I give it a look.

Its quite simple really, 1 how long you had this truck, 2 have you checked and replaced the oil in the diff'd front and rear, because this oil, has proberly been in there since it left the works line in Japan, and owners dont " think " to bother to even think it needs changing, same goes for the transfer box and the ATF oil, in the gearbox, and have you done the 3 f's since you bought it???.

Sorry if this sounds off, but this is what happens, because of previous owners selling you these trucks because the cant afford them anymore because of the resession and just want to off load them and couldn't care less about the likes of you, the buyer.

But you still will have to check out the bulbs behind the dash too,
The three F's, is AIR, OIL and FUEL FILTERS, in other words basic Maintaiance of your engine, that way, you take care of it and it will take care of you, but you should know this, as your a serial 4X4 owner, by the list of trucks you have listed, in your Avatar, LOL.

Yeh, the filters will all get done, always do a full service on my cars when I get hold of them, even if they've had one before I get it. Never used that term thats all.
Was going to check the bulbs earlier but it went dark on me and I ran out of time. I'll check them and change the oils. see where I go from there.

So i checked the bulbs on my dash. Not blown. now i assume its a gearbox fault. the 4wd selects ok. it all works fine in and out. just got nowt to say its in. where are the switches on the box? ive checked as much loom as i can to see all plugs are in as they should be under bonnet and under car. its a little annoying. any info or ideas where it can be taken to sort. cheers guys
