thought i heard a rattle when started up this morning, anyway did a bit of nosing around and one of the back bolts that hold the sump guard on has fell out, could be a bit iffy if all of them came loose whilst travelling.

might be worth having a check to make sure!

seems to be a common prob this one,i put new lock washers on and they still came undone,so ive used a dab of thread lock and so far so good

Already did the same to mine, never ceases to amaze me how the potholes & speed bumps round here can shake almost anything loose.

Cant have bits fallin off, folks may think its a landy!!!!!!

The captive nuts seem to wear out after a time, I put a bolt through the captive nut on mine and welded the head, then used nylock nuts and it seems OK now!

Ok smart Ass, nylock nuts, I couldn't think of the name at the time  but yes,it is a problem and a weekly check should be done. Driving over a sump guard at sixty (assuming a 2.5 can go that fast) aint going to do your truck any good
