the viscous fans on the pajero get a lot of use and are at times under extreme presure regularly check the fan blade base for signs of cracking as i know of 4 that have had this if there is cracks then i would replace asap as you dont want the fan breaking up at high revs expect to pay between £40 and £100 for a second hand viscouse unit and fan as the breakers only normally sell as one unit
