injecters can get gummed up from every day use esepiecaly when they have come from japan and sat in traffic alot now you can clean the injectors ect by putting injecter cleaner into the fuel tank i use this method
run the car down to 1/4 tank and i put a generous amout of injecter cleaner in run for about 30 miles and fill the tank do this from time to time to keep your injecters clean

Why you should clean injecters.

It all started with a rattle then high revs and lots of blue smoke,scared siff turned ign off still reving high and then low,still even more smoke.
Two pairs of underpants later (about 2 mins seemed like hours) the eng stoped.
Got paj home with help from the AA,eng oil level up high which ruled out turbo so looked at derv pump.
Front seal had blown letting derv into eng oil henc oil gets sucked up into turbo into intercooler into manifold, eng then burns oil revs high.
It all started with semi blocked injecters x 3, back pressure built up in pump blew oil seal,oil in eng revs high blows head gasket cost lots of dosh to repair.

So clean regular,i do now.
