hello,
looking for advice as to what tyres to choose next, currently runing 32x11.5 r15 BFG's all terrains and they are great tyres on the road and light field use but have been left wanting in marsh ground and as my shogun is 75% on the road im looking for a good mix, low road noise, and relatively good grip on wet roads yet max off road traction!? is there such a tyre :-k going to be doing a suspension lift so going for 33's next, any suggestions or opinions on tyres that ye are using???

i run BFG muds, their a very well made tyre so road handling is not compromised, low road noise, are not scary in the wet, yet are more than cappable for the average offroader. Have had more aggressive tyres in the past which are shocking on road, and these are not as good but are defeinetly not that far behind off road to worry about.

I ran BFG ATs even through Devils Pit, and handled perfectly.

If you go for MT tyres, they wont last long on the black stuff.

A tyre will only do what its capable of doing, ie ATs are meant for general all terrain grip, not marsh land. And likewise with Muds, they are made, nor will they last long, on tarmac.

bfg muds do wear very well on the road aswell, obviously not as good ATs but thewir always has to be a compromise somewhere.
