Hi there.
Mine has the same problem, no rear drive lights and only front lights working. I have put it down to bulbs blown and never got round to changing them.
Find some grassy are and put the box into low 2lc, you should find that the steering gets a bit heavier and you have drive to all 4 wheels. It will drive very slow as well.
The centre of your 4wd display should light up orange as well. HTH.

if you decide to change the bulbs then buy the lot and change em all at the same time. it's a 15 minute job and a doddle to do[smilie=thatworks.g:

Hi, its proberley like Iceman says, you have bulbs out on the dash, its a bit of a pig to have the dash out, but if you want to change and check the bulbs, then you have to take the time to do it, there will be posts on here, maybe with photo's to show you how to take the dash out to change them.

This is an easy fix if you have one or 2 bulbs out. You can get the bulbs from Mitsi Halfords Maplins ect Mitsi will know what bulbs you need before you start but the others you will have to take the bulbs in to them
its about a 20 min job on the mark 2
Start by taking the 2 srews out of the dash binicle cover, 2 from the front and one on the top at the back by the heater vents {dont lose the srew down the heater vent }
the top will now lift of the clocks you will see 4 more screws facing you remove these, now pull the clocks forwards gently
you will find multi plug connecters at the back unplug these and hey presto you have clocks off,
look at the back and you will see loads of bulbs, work out which ones have blown and replace.
The most common bulbs to go are the ones that are on the most ie 4wd rear lights and the auto selecter light the d goes
have fun with that if you are doing it
ps it is a little fiddly but quite an easy job for all to tackle. If you need help with this job drop me a pm.

theres a few folks on fleabay flogging full sets of bulbs for a couple o quid, gotta be cheaper than a dealer m8, theres 2 different sizes, you will need 23x 286 and 7x 504 (halfords) or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20-Clock-Dash-Panel-Console-bulbs-fit-MK2-Pajero-Shogun_W0QQitemZ290308801254QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2903088012 54&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A13 18|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

A pair of latex gloves help as well. Makes it easier to grip the bulbs to get them out.

Hope that you have got a good trolley jack and a couple of axle stands, because you have to jack up the rear of your truck and put the axle stands under so that you can check and see if you have any oil in the rear diff, you will find two stud bolts one at the bottom of the diff, this is for draining the diff, the other one is half way up the diff, this one is to check that its got oil in it, if it does'nt run out when you open it, then put your finger in and see if you can feel any oil, if not, then you will have to put some in, but there should be some raised letters on the filling bolt/stud if its ( LSD ) limited slip diff, if so, then you need LSD oil, if not then you want 80/90 gear oil, best of luck with your serviceing.

Not a hard job at all to do the dash lights, changed many times over now, can do them in about 30mins.
As advised, change them all over at the same time with complete new ones from either Dealer, Ebay, Halfords or Maplins.
Gonna do mine again soon on new truck and change them all over to Blue LEDs.
