hello, i have just spoted that there is deisel leaking from around the base of one of the injectors , do i have to replace them all? i can only find in sets of 4 and are not cheep. or ony one know a quick fix i dont have a clue as never done injectors , please help......2.5 shogun 1988

normally its just the sealing copper washers that need replacing so unless the injecters are no good you dont need to replace them
go to mitsubishi and they will sell you the copper washers for about 4 quid per injector

are the pipes under pressue? can i just take them off ? and how do i bleed system after job done

it should self bleed if not crack open thge injecters and turn over that will bleed the system
as far as i know they are not under presure

Just undo the pipe [smilie=cool.gif]if you just remove the pipe from the injector then you will not need the bleed them, if you remove the pipes completely then yes you should really.
all you need to do is have the nut's on the pump done up tight and the ones on the injectors slack, then turn the engine over until diesel comes out of the pipe.....then it's tighten up, start engine and check for leaks.

had a squiffy washer on one of my injectors - soaked the engine when running, replaced it and all as good as new
