3.2 DiD Air Con problem

The air con pump on my 2001 3.2did is shot (seized). I've been quoted £771 for a new one from Mitsubishi. It wont be getting one at that price. :( Does anyone know if one off a Mk 2 will fit? they look similar. :?:

not sure on the fitments but would an air con specialist not be able to rebuild your pump for less money :?:
