Runs lumpy after cruising

My dad recently got a new car and gave me a 1993 Paj 2.8TD auto. It had been stood for a month till I could take it home. I am still getting used to it (my old car being a 1988 2.5TD manual shogun). There is something that worries me. After I have cruised, say on the motorway the engine seems to throb rhythmically. If I slow, the beat slows, if i speed up, it gets faster. It only does it when warm and after a run. Any advice would be most apprecated.

:? very odd, is it an engine noise or does it seem to be somewhere else? maybe prop shaft or transfer box? sooooo many things it could be its hard to say without hearing it, or a more in depth description

I think it may have been a brake sticking :oops: due to it being stood for 2 months with the brakes on! Piston seems to be stuck in caliper. Its having a new caliper on monday :lol: will let you know
