Hopefully I will show you what I will do with it, dependent on my stupid credit card company that has screwed up the payment for it, If I don't pay for it by Sunday I may loose it

Absolutely devastated, I had my wife's Range Rover in the garage today to check a starting problem hoping that it was a fuel sensor, just had the bad news from the garage that it was actually a major fault that requires new pistons and a reboor costing around £2000 or look for a recon engine
This means that due to costs I have had to pull out of buying the landy, now It looks as though I may have lost two vehicles
don't know what to do at the moment but will keep you all updated

I think I may have some good news, dropped the Rangie in to Landrover today to get a second opinion on the starting problem that my local mechanic said was terminal and they said it was the fuel pump running at 45% when it should have been more like 90%.
I can only trust what they say as I have no idea if that could effect problems starting when hot however it has got to be better than writing the engine off.
The only bad news with this was I can no longer trust one of the only 4x4 mechanics in my area, Landrover charge twice what he does to do the same work, guess I need to brush up on my repair skills.
At least I can breath with a sigh of relief and start looking again for another Landy
