Hi there!!
Can anyone explain to me whats going on with me Paj? There is a noise underneath at the front that clatters over each and every bump in the road, it does it in all drives 2w,4w etc. Is it the driveshaft bearing per chance? Im hoping it aint gonna be a big expense.
Any help would be gratefully received!!

Have you checked the sump guards/skid plates underneath, the bolts can have a habit of working loose. HTH.

Hi mate, the clattering as you describe might well be a shock absorber, at least that was the cause of the same sort of sound mainly coming from the n/s/f of my Shogun. The bushing in the wheel end of the shocker was totally recked and also awkward to change out due to the bolt rusting to metal tube in the end of the shocker. It just took a little longer to replace thats all. Its fine now. Eighty quid for the pair of front shockers (KYB), not too bad I thought, and a fairly easy job for an spanner strangler.
