View Full Version : Roof Lights - Spot or driving lights

am fitting some auxillary roof lights tonight, but before i purchase said items i just need to be clear in the type that i get.

Do i want spots lights or driving lights?

Get both, i had on my disco spots in the middle and sriving lights on the outside of my roof bar :wink: worked a treat :wink:

Think of spot lights like a sniper rifle, every heartbeat makes the crosshairs bounce or every blade of grass points the lights skyward :roll:
Great for loooooong distance.
Driving lights are a much better compromise, especially in multiple pairs aimed differently.
Roof mounted fogs are crap (IMHO)
Tractor / JCB front lights "CAN" be great, as long as they're not the road legal ones....... (somewhere between work and driving lights)
