white smoke

i have a j reg 2.5td paj and when ticking over it plumes white smoke could this be the head gasket or the water pump please help :(

O dear i had this problem with my 2.5 paj the head cracked across the valve seats on number 2 cylinder.

Try this before it gets tooo bad.
Add radfush to the water for a couple of hours of normal motoring
Drain all the water from the system.
flush out for about 15mins with a garden hose to get rid of all the crap from the system
refit hoses and refill system
Then before you add antifreeze etc, bring the engine upto tempreture and then add
a product called "K" Seal www.k-seal.co.uk (http://www.k-seal.co.uk) this stuff is the dog's danglers and with luck
solve ya problem.
It did with my Ford mavarick......all advise was given by the local ford garage and it worked first
time, i suppose it depends how bad ya leak is but if its any help mine was quite bad!!
AND they say its a permanent fix, 18 months on i part exed my maverick on and it was still going strong.
